Today’s Poem: Unspeakable Joy

to GOD be the GLORY

~ Unspeakable Joy ~

Joy that is counted,
no matter what goes on
is joy that believes . . .
in the grace of the Son.

Joy that is patient,
when it’s being tested
is joy that’s in Jesus . . .
at peace and rested.

Joy that is brimming,
without being requested
is joy that is in prayer . . .
completely invested.

Joy that’s inexpressible,
in things not observed
is joy that is in hope . . .
perfectly preserved.

Joy that’s heart grieving,
but is not by man taken . . .
is joy that is in God . . .
which cannot be shaken.

Joy that is counted,
joy that’s unshakable
is joy so wonderful . . .
it is unspeakable!
