Today’s Poem: Washed In The Blood

to GOD be the GLORY

~ Washed In The Blood ~

Jesus’ blood,
washed over me
now His love
has set me free.

Free from quilt,
free from blame
for, upon Himself
He took my shame.

Jesus’ blood,
flooded over me
flushing out sin’s
grit and debris.

At not a cost,
His grace I attained
now through faith
I’m no longer sin-stained.

Jesus’s blood,
washed over me
giving me a life . . .
now sin free!

Unto him that loved us,
and washed us from our
sins in his own blood,

And hath made us kings
and priests unto God
and his Father;

and dominion
for ever and ever.”
