~ The Hungry, Thirsty Heart ~

The hungry heart,
needs to be filled
with God’s Word
so to be skilled.
Skilled in faith,
trained in trust
so to the world ways
it will not adjust.
The thirsty heart,
needs to find
God’s peacefulness
in heart and mind.
Calm and tranquility,
amidst the mayhem
so their souls too . . .
God will not condemn.
The hungry, thirsty heart,
will not settle for . .
anything that God
loathes and abhors!

Blessed are they which do
hunger and thirst after
righteousness: for they
shall be filled.
The foolish shall not stand
in thy sight: thou hatest
all workers of iniquity.
Thou shalt destroy them.

the Lord will abhor the
