Storms aren’t meant,
to blow us over . . .
they come so we can be
stronger than ever.
Storms aren’t meant,
to take us down . . .
they arise so we can turn
our lives around.
Storms aren’t meant,
to make us weak . . .
they arrive so we will
first, God truly seek.
Storms aren’t meant,
to make us shake . . .
they descend so we can
from apathy awake.
Storms aren’t meant,
to blow through us . . .
they come so we can learn
in God to always trust!
