Sometimes God makes me wait,
though I would rather just up and go
sometimes He tells me . . .
My child you need to take it slow.
Sometimes He says to get up,
when I would rather stay down
sometimes He tells me . . .
My child you need to turn around.
Sometimes God makes me sit still,
when I would rather proceed
sometimes He tells me . . .
My child your will to Me concede.
Sometimes He says to walk,
when I would rather off and run
sometimes He tells me . . .
My child put your trust in My Son.
Sometimes God makes me wait,
sometimes He tells me to go . . .
but, most of the time He tells me
My child be still till you know!
