Lord today I pray,
for Your healing hand
to reach across each sea
to stretch over every land.

I pray for each person,
who knows and loves Thee
for Your strength and courage
as their homelands they flee.

I pray for the persecuted,
for those dying each day
just because they believe
in the Life, Truth and Way.

I pray for the oppressed.
for the ones being abused
for those who are tormented
those being falsely accused.

I pray for all who suffer,
in the enemy’s evil hand
I pray for Your healing touch
over each downtrodden land.

Lord today I pray,
for mankind every where
for You to give them peace
in the midst of their despair!
