to GOD be the GLORY

Oh, weary soul,
burdened down one
there is rest to find
in God’s beloved Son.

For Jesus came,
to set you free
from all that worries
and stresses thee.

Oh, fearful heart,
scared and terrified one
there is light to find
in the life of God’s Son.

For Jesus came,
to show you the way
He brings hope to all
for a future brighter day.

Oh, weary soul,
dear fainthearted one
cast all your cares
onto God’s loving Son.

For Jesus came,
to give you rest
so His peace . . .
you could digest!
