to GOD be the GLORY

~ My Soul Longs ~

As a Deer Pants used with permission IBible Verses

My soul longs for Your peace,
for the comfort Your Word brings
for the reassurance and the calm
in the shadow of Your wings.

My soul longs for Your deliverance,
for the truth of Your restoration
for the liberty and the release
from the heaviness of my affliction.

My soul longs for Your mercy,
for the grace You have for me
for the compassion and the pity
so from all that’s evil I may flee.

My soul longs for Your eternal love,
for the deliverance of my sin
for the plan of hope and salvation
for Your Spirit to come dwell within!
