~ My Soul Aches ~

My soul aches,
to be compliant
it longs to be
on God reliant.
For I am in awe,
of His holiness
making me aware
of my lowliness.
My heart yearns to be,
onto God cleaving
so I may serve Him
through righteous living.
For to be obedient,
I need to walk
the voice I hear
when to me He talks.
My souls pines,
to keep God’s commands
my heart strives . . .
to do what He demands!

and fear him, and keep
his commandments,
and obey his voice,
and ye shall serve him,
and cleave unto him.
