Today’s Poem: I Want To Be That Eagle

to GOD be the GLORY

~ I Want To Be That Eagle ~

I want to be that eagle,
that knows when to soar
who patiently waits . . .
for guidance from the Lord.

Then I would discover,
how to spread my wings
then I’d be able to conquer
all the storms life brings.

I want to have the wisdom,
to be able to discern . . .
how to fly over the clouds
not faint in my concern.

Then I’d have His strength,
to mount up and rise
trusting in His foresight
not what’s before me eyes.

I want to be that eagle,
who never gets weary
I want it to be the Lord . . .
who I can trust clearly!
