I put my God before me,
I let Him lead my way
I know I can trust Him
to guide me every day.
I hold tight to His right hand,
He reaches for my left one
He slowly pulls me upwards
till I get closer to His Son.
My soul finds refreshment,
in hope I find true rest
His peace lets me know
just how much I’m blessed.
My way is paved in mercy,
joy follows me wherever I go
His peaceful presence in my life
I shall forever seek and know!
