to GOD be the GLORY

~ Greet Me At The Gate ~

Give me peace Lord,
fill me with serenity
so that I may face
today’s uncertainty.

Help me to keep,
focused in on You
so my eternal aim
is always in view.

Keep my feet Lord,
from the truth slipping
keep my hands Lord
on my Bible gripping.

Give me wisdom,
for what’s lying ahead
help me to trust You
so not to get misled.

Give me peace Lord,
as my life I navigate
for my aim is for You . . .
to greet me at the gate!
