Lord, carry me upon Your grace,
until the day I see Your face
and when I’m down and feeling low
let Your joy in me begin to flow.
When I need a hand to hold,
give me Yours so I’ll be bold
and when I need a loving friend
be mine until the very end.
Lord, lift my spirits in Your love,
send Your mercies from above
and when I need a shoulder to cry on
let it be Your name I call upon.
When I’m hurting and I’m in pain,
let Your strength be my restrain
and when it gets too much for me
let hope help me to trust in Thee.
Keep me close and near to You,
help me with everything I must do
and when I’m not sure where to go
let Your Spirit, lead and show.
Lord, carry me upon Your wings,
so I may soar above all things
and if air You see me losing . . .
keep for me Your wings moving!
