A new commandment,
for you to do . . .
to love others as much
as Jesus loves you.
You must put away,
envy, greed and strife
if others are to see
Jesus’ love in you life.
You need to be the light,
exposing the true way
love must be the motive
behind the words you say.
You need to be honest,
about Jesus’ great love
how much He hates sin
as does His Father above.
A new commandment,
we were all given . . .
with love we need to tell
why it is we are forgiven!
