God loves a giver,
cheerful and cheery
He loves when we help
the weak and weary.
He loves a donor,
who gives freely
in the name of Jesus
gifts of charity.
God loves a giver,
happy and joyful
He loves when we aid
the poor and woeful.
He loves a supplier,
without any strings
for they seek no return
for the gifts they bring.
God loves a giver,
cheery and cheerful
He loves seeing us give
with a heart joyful!

Every man according as he purposeth
in his heart, so let him give; not
grudgingly, or of necessity:
for God loveth a cheerful giver.
I have shewed you all things,
how that so labouring ye ought
to support the weak, and to
remember the words of the
Lord Jesus, how he said,
It is more blessed to give
than to receive.
