Your Heart’s Desires ~

If you want God to give you,
your heart’s desires . . .
then for Him your soul
must fan grateful fires.
You need to be elated,
with His loving kindness
you need to be delighted
in all of His goodness.
You need to take pleasure,
in the righteous living
you need in all things
give Him your thanksgiving.
You need to be excited,
by the joy of your salvation
you need to be exuberant
He saved you from damnation.
If you want God to give you,
your heart’s true desires . . .
you can’t be complacent
in doing what He requires!
