God gives to me,
peace unexpected
whenever His ways
I have respected.
A peace that calms,
my anxious soul
one guaranteed
to ease and console.
God gives to me,
peace surpassing
with the promise . . .
it’ll be everlasting.
A peace so unreal,
it’s out of this world
the kind only God
is able to unfurl.
God gives to me,
peace when I need it
whenever to His ways
I willingly commit!
