to GOD be the GLORY

~ Making My Life Count ~

One day to God,
I will give account
of all of my doings
and my where’s-about.

So each day I try,
in His presence to live
and my attention
to Him, I hourly give.

For, His eyes see all,
they are everywhere
as He travels with me
on life’s thoroughfare.

So I pray every day,
God’s ways I will know
for I don’t want to journey
where He would not go.

For, Jesus abides in me,
and I need to be wary
for I do not know . . .
how long He may tarry.

So I live my life,
knowing I’ll give account
tis why all my days for Him
I want to make count!
