to GOD be the GLORY

~ Life Is Full Of Weeping ~

Life is full of weeping,
tears of agony . . .
but, new things will come
through our misery.

For without sorrow’s clouds,
hanging over us
we would never know
how in God to truly trust.

Life is full of weeping,
sobs so ever mournful
but, we can rest knowing
we’ll once more be joyful.

For without experiencing,
the real effects of grief
we would never know
the hope of God’s relief.

Life is full of weeping,
cries of distress . . .
but, joy comes to those
who into Jesus press!

a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning.

For our light affliction,
which is but for a moment,
worketh for us a far more
exceeding and eternal
