to GOD be the GLORY

~ I Don’t Trust Man~

I don’t trust man,
to tell me how to live
I don’t have confidence . . .
in the reasons they give.

For man will say,
do whatever you want
or your regrets
will come back to haunt.

But, I know God,
will have the final say
on how I choose . . .
to live out my days.

So I put my faith,
in God’s living Word
so by man’s opinion
I’m not swayed or lured.

I don’t trust man’s,
worldly sentiment . . .
in this Gospel truth
I am confident!
