God gives shade,
to us when weary
provides a cover
when we’re dreary.
He shadows us with,
His mighty wings
helps us to rise
above all things.
God gives shade,
to us when frayed
provides a screen
when burden lade.
He shields us with,
His right hand
holds us upright
when we can’t stand.
God gives shade,
to us when dismayed
so His glory on us . . .
can be displayed!
