Today I took a sail,
on a quiet, restful sea
and soon tranquility
took a hold of me.

As I gently rocked,
I became aware
this is how it will be
when I haven’t me a care.

I laid back my head,
my face was to the sun
thinking what it’ll be like
when worry, I have none.

I closed my eyes tightly,
envisioning perfect bliss
and thought to myself
this world I’ll not miss.

Today I took a sail,
if only in my mind . . .
but God showed me His peace
is right here ~ for me to find!
