to GOD be the GLORY

~ Day’s End ~

Heavenly Father,
my day is drawing to an end
and I just want to thank You
for all the blessings You send.

I thank You for Your presence,
whether felt or not
for showing me compassion
when feeling over fraught.

Heavenly Father,
thank You for protecting me
with heaven-sent angels
those that I can and can’t see.

Thank you for Your wisdom,
giving me the heart to hear
but mostly I thank you . . .
for always being ever near.

Heavenly Father,
as tonight I close my eyes
I pray for Your mercy new
tomorrow when I rise!
