~ A Lively Hope ~

I’ve got me a lively hope,
a perpetual supply of grace
for I know one glorious day
I’m going to see God face to face.

I’ve got me a transforming hope,
an abundant supply of favor
mercy beyond all measure
in the Lord my eternal Savior.

I’ve got me an active hope,
and I’m full of anticipation
for the day my Lord will come
is my confident expectation.

I’ve got me a breathing hope,
it is permanent and undying
my future blessings are a fact
and on Christ Jesus I am relying.

I got me an incorruptible hope,
an inheritance that’s all mine
nothing that I have earned at all
but one that is of God’s design.

I’ve got me a living hope,
an everlasting supply of love
for I know one glorious day
I”ll be with my Lord above!
