to GOD be the GLORY
~ If Only More People ~
If only more people,
would others forgive
oh, what a better world . . .
in which we would live.
Then there would be,
no more sorrow and grief
for bitterness would be
short lived and brief.
If only more people,
would turn the other cheek
oh, how this world . . .
would be so less bleak.
For, then there would be,
less death and devastation
for peace would replace
reproach and condemnation.
If only more people,
would love one another
then we’d have a world . . .
where no one has to suffer!
