to GOD be the GLORY

~ Soaking Up God’s Peace ~

Sometimes ~ I just want to stand,
on top of the highest hill
raise my hands to the Lord
tell Him how I really feel.

I want to shout out my love,
hear His echo back at me
I want to close my eyes tight
until His glory is all I see.

Sometimes ~ I want to be alone,
on the tallest mountain top
sing my praise to the Lord
never wishing for them to stop.

I want to cry my eyes out,
have Him wipe away my tears
I want to give Him any doubt
so He can take away my fears.

Sometimes ~ I just want to stand,
and soak up all His peace . . .
I want to raise my hands upward
until I feel His sweet release!
