to GOD be the GLORY

~ I Will Follow Jesus ~

I will follow Jesus,
wherever He leads
be it fields of clover
or ones full of weeds.

I will go after Him,
leave all behind me
so I can trust Him . . .
for what I cannot see.

I will follow Jesus,
my own cross I will bear
be it on stormy seas
or ones calm and fair.

I will stick by Him,
wherever He goes . . .
deny my very own life
for the one for me He chose.

I will follow Jesus,
right into His light
together the darkness
we will expose and fight!

“If anyone would come after me,
let him deny himself and take up
his cross and follow me.

Whoever follows me
will not walk in darkness,
but will have the light of life.”
