True Love ~

Love CHRISTian poetry by deborah ann
True love does not boast,
 it’s not embedded with pride
 love that is forthright
 hasn’t anything to hide.
It is not offensive,
 carefully it chooses its words
 it’s pleasing and uplifting
 joy and happiness it stirs.
It doesn’t act haughty,
 or say things causing pain
 love that is agape . . .
 has nothing for it to gain.
Love that comes from Jesus,
 is filled with truth and light
 love that is not self-seeking
 is pleasing in God’s sight!
