to GOD be the GLORY

~ Counting My Blessings ~

If I could add up,
all of my blessings
the total sum of them . . .
I’d only be guessing.

For, God sends to me,
new ones each day
yet, I don’t notice them
as they come my way.

If I’d only slow down,
I know I would see
the many blessings
He bestows on me.

For, God delivers to me,
mercy on a daily bases
and often I miss seeing . . .
the abundance of His graces.

If I could all my blessings,
harness and gather . . .
I know I would never stop
giving praise to my Father!
