Lord, I’ll praise You in the quietness,
when my soul is at perfect rest
I’ll praise You in the peaceful times
when I am feeling oh, so blessed.
I’ll praise You while in the valley,
when my spirit is feeling low
I’ll praise You in the darker times
when I’m not sure which way to go.
I’ll praise You from the mountain top,
when my heart with You is right
I’ll praise You in each shinning victory
when I’m soaking in Your light.
I’ll praise You in the storms that blow,
when my soul is tossed about
I’ll praise You in the billowing waves
when I am struggling with self-doubt.
Lord, I’ll praise You in the quietness,
when my soul is oh, so blessed
I’ll praise You in the strongest gusts
for I know You’ll give me perfect rest!
